41.8cms H x 29.5cms W - 'Ruffled' - Meet Piper - Not sure what's ruffled her feathers but something seems to have. I used to live by the beach here in Australia, and the pelicans were a common sight sitting on top of the street lights, or swooping for fish in the nearby lagoon. Piper's created in Watercolour and Gouache in shades of White, Blue, Teal, Red and Ochre. She was inspired a a great photo from Thomas Millot with thanks to @insituartroom for the room display.
